We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Engineer to join our team on a critical program. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in cloud infrastructure, system administration, and network engineering, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure. This role is responsible for managing cloud environments, driving infrastructure automation, and supporting the migration of workloads to the cloud.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and support production applications hosted in cloud environments (primarily Azure).
- Design and implement automated deployment of cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Lead efforts to migrate applications and workloads from on-premises data centers to the cloud.
- Collaborate with DevOps, security, and engineering teams to ensure secure, scalable, and resilient infrastructure.
- Monitor cloud performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize for cost and efficiency.
Required Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in IT Systems Infrastructure and Networking.

5+ years of experience in Azure cloud administration, including deployment, monitoring, and management of Azure resources.
- Demonstrated experience with:
- Managing cloud-based production applications.
- Automating infrastructure deployment using tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
- Executing successful cloud migration strategies from legacy or on-prem environments.
- Managing cloud-based production applications.
Desired Skills & Certifications:

Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification or equivalent experience managing Kubernetes clusters.
- Strong Linux system administration skills.
- Solid background in network engineering, including VPNs, firewalls, routing, and load balancing in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with cloud cost optimization strategies and tools (e.g., Azure Cost Management, FinOps practices).
Compensation: $115,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
